300m Meadowhall extension approved Magazine

Sheffield City Council has unanimously voted towards the 300 million extension towards the city’s Meadowhall centre.

The 330,000 feet square development will transform the centre’s leisure offering because of its 24 million annual visitors.

Meadowhall co-owner British Land originally submitted plans in November 2016.

With approval along, the extension will integrate with all the front of your existing centre featuring dining and entertaining options, a brand new cinema, caf court, gym, open-air terrace and space for leisure, event and community use.

The Leisure Hall will abide by a 60 million refurbishment that is certainly transforming the appearance and feel of your existing centre.

This work are going to be completed through the autumn, in front of the peak Christmas trading period, and it has directly benefited any local economy with 70% from the work commissioned from companies within 25 miles in the centre.

This follows news that inward investment in Sheffield was at its highest within a generation.
