LONDON (Reuters) – The Bank of England stated it will carry out a test on Friday to gauge the financial sector’s capability withstand a major cyber attack.
The BoE said that, together with the finance ministry and also the Financial Conduct Authority, it might host a one-day exercise on Nov. 9.
“The exercise helps authorities and corporations identify improvements for our collective response arrangements, raising the resilience of your sector as a whole,” the BoE said in the statement.
