Rudgate Brewery is eyeing expansion after securing budgets from lender the organization Fund (BEF).
The York-based artisanal brewery is among one of four to secure a slice in excess of 132,000 from BEF C that also offers mentoring for business across Yorkshire and the North East.
Rudgate Brewery, which contains worked the BEF more than few years, recently secured a 45,000 loan on the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund.
MD Craig Lee said: “Backing from BEF continues to be fundamental for the growth plans, arranging finance and top-ups to back up our expansion after we secured handles Wetherspoons and Greene King.
“The funding allowed us in order to develop our vast selection of core and seasonal beer through purchase of staff and equipment.”
As the micro-brewing industry is growing over the UK , BEF has witnessed a boost in the demand for start-up loans and finance to compliment the rise of existing facilities.
Huddersfield-based Lords Brewing and Gateshead’s Great North Eastern Brewing also have received BEF funding.
Eyes Brewing in Leeds, britain’s first wheat beer brewery, approached BEF for funding after couple of years of home brewing to create its products.
