Sheffield's Televideo scoop 150k Northern Powerhouse loan

Sheffield outside broadcasting company Televideo has secured a 150,000 loan from NPIF C Enterprise Ventures Debt Finance C portion of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund.

Televideo, presents sports programming, make use of the funding to advance equipment and upgrade an extra outside broadcast unit to utilize 4K or Ultra HD.

Established over Four decades ago, Televideo produces Countless hours of original content on a yearly basis for broadcasters like BBC, Channel 4, Sky Sports, BT Sport and Premier Sports.

It also represents host broadcaster using a selection of major stand-alone events including the European Aquatic Championships, the Rugby League World Cup combined with the ICC Women’s World Cup.

Peter Sorsby, Investment Manager at Enterprise Ventures, part of Mercia Technologies PLC, said: “This funding will grant it in order to satisfy the growing requirement for outside broadcasts using the most up to date high-definition technology.”
