(Reuters) – BlackBerry Ltd is set in foretells buy cybersecurity company Cylance Inc as similar to what $1.5 billion, Business Insider reported on Friday, citing sources experienced with the situation.

Irvine, California-based Cylance develops AI-based products to avoid cyberattacks on companies and recently considered filing for an IPO, based on the report. (https://read.bi/2SYzvM9)

A deal can be announced when in a few days, Business Insider reported citing sources, who cautioned the sale could still fall apart.

BlackBerry and Cylance would not immediately interact to requests for comment.
