Lincolnshire logistics operator East Trans has invested 1.Six million inside a new warehousing facility to capitalise within the rapid growth in online transactions.

The enhanced 40,000 high-bay warehouse will enable East Trans to win a significant new customer, the firm said.

The new contract is to use a major medical supplies company requiring secure, high-quality warehousing and reliable distribution through the UK.

This might be East Trans’ first move into “pick and pack” logistics C an expanding market driven by consumers and businesses favouring the pace and ease of online purchasing.

The investment means East Trans can offer customers accurately everytime 200,000 square centimeter of newly-built or recently refurbished warehousing over nine acres at Stallingborough in North East Lincolnshire.
