Senate Intelligence Committee backs assessment of Russia election meddling

The Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday backed the intelligence community’s assessment that Russia interfered from the 2016 presidential election to support President Donald Trump and it is continuing its efforts to undermine U.S. democracy.

The finding that reveals Russia meddled in a lot more extensive ways than previously known can be another strong rebuke to Trump and lots of of his allies who continue to cast doubt for the finding on the intelligence community that Moscow completed an action to assist his candidacy and hurt Hillary Clinton.
