Sparta to flourish Leeds & London presence with 4m cash injection

As a component of a slew newest investments, Leeds’ private equity finance house Key Capital Partners (KCP) has backed London’s Sparta Global with a 4 million equity investment.

The cash injection are going to be used to expand the IT services provider’s London footprint, and also extending its reach into Birmingham and Leeds.

The 16 million turnover firm counts Channel 4, Three Mobile, additionally, the Ministry of Justice among its clients.

The deal sees KCP gain a significant minority stake in the marketplace backing the management team and co-founders, CEO David Rai, and CTO Tim Staton.

The investment will fund further expansion, like opening of brand new training centres in Leeds and Birmingham and produce another 100 jobs in 2018.
